At business area Rock Processing, every day brings new challenges – whether it’s developing unique products, ensuring safety in extreme environments, or collaborating with experts across the globe.
About your job
In this position, you lead the mechanical scope of complex projects from concept to completion – securing resources, managing budgets and assessing risks. You act as a sub-project manager for the mechanical portion, ensuring every design meets rigorous standards and regulations. You bring ideas to life using CAD and CAE tools, create detailed engineering drawings, and validate product performance before handing over to production.
You also:
Analyze equipment specs and process requirements to deliver practical, compliant designs.
Collaborate across divisions and functions, integrating feedback from stakeholders like sales, development, and project managers.
Make cost calculations for ETO projects from a mechanical perspective.
Take responsibility for EHS in every aspect of your work.

Your profile
A relevant university degree or the equivalent experience forms the foundation of your technical expertise. You have several years’ experience as a mechanical design engineer – especially with customized deliveries and product development – and are comfortable navigating different standards, legislation and client requirements. Project management experience is important, and you bring extensive experience from the mining, or similar process industries. Business acumen is second nature, with a strong grasp of cost calculations and supplier interactions. Acting in a truly global environment calls for fluency in English.
Strategic thinking guides your work, always aligning with organizational goals. Your communication and interpersonal skills are top-notch, allowing you to build strong relationships. Problem-solving is in your DNA, and you make data-driven decisions with integrity and high ethical standards. You thrive in cross-functional teams, embrace new challenges, and stay ahead of industry trends. A proactive mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement help you succeed in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.

A place of inclusive collaboration, agility and innovation - where we nurture an ever-growing portfolio of products and solutions based on the needs of the market, and where pioneering software technology meets the core of manufacturing.
We’re now looking for a Maintenance & Technical Roll-Out Manager to join our Digital Development Center – someone who wants to engage with a broad network of sales resources, customers and internal stakeholders as we’re creating a strong digital offering for this new business area. Are you eager to join us?
Let’s talk about your job
In this position, you provide support to our product line management, sales representatives, as well as our internal partners when it comes to the digital offering and the digital platform of Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions. You’re the main point of contact for sales resources in our sales areas – both in operations and during roll out – and you actively help us prepare for upcoming launches and updates of new features. For example, you assist our sales areas with the onboarding of new customers and make sure that the process surrounding this runs smoothly. Collaboration is key in your job, and you work alongside our UX Design Lead to collect and prioritize information and requests from our sales area and customers, as well as with our System Architect and Tech Lead to sort any arising issues in a timely manner. You establish ways of working by involving our stakeholders and you contribute in bringing world class into our digital offer.
Basically, you’re the kind of person that does what it takes to help anyone new to digital to get a more comfortable understanding of digital solutions, so that they can do their job successfully. You might not always know or understand everything yourself, but then you make sure to explore, investigate and find the answers you need to explain to others.
You report to the Head of Digital Business Development, and this position is preferably based in the Svedala/Malmö area, although Stockholm or other locations close to our business could be discussed.
And what about you?
We’re looking for someone with an academic degree in a relevant field, combined with broad technical knowledge and a will to really understand our digital offer. You have most likely had similar roles within backline or customer support in the past. You have a project manager’s mindset and are very skilled at managing many different stakeholders. Since we act in a global setting, you must also communicate fluently in English.
Working in structured and systematic ways makes it easy for you to gather and follow up information, and you make sure we have the input we need to enhance our digital offering. You really enjoy a changing environment, and you have an agile approach to solving issues. A major driving force for you is to connect with people and create excellent collaborations, and as you’re both open minded and socially confident, you handle this with ease!

Within Digital Business Development at Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology (SMRT), we’re missioned to invent digital products and solutions to enhance the every day life for our customers. As we’re setting up an ambidextrous organization, we’re now looking for a Manager for Digital Innovation Projects to join our division in a role where innovation and execution is equally important. This is truly a business crucial role with great mandate to drive development for the division and ensuring a smooth transformation towards digital. Are you up for the challenge?

Your mission
In this position, you contribute to our success by challenging the organization in the digital area and by taking responsibility for innovation management across the organization. You collaborate with R&D across the division to ensure that potential future capabilities - both in terms of software and hardware - are aligned with the digital offering platform. You push development for potential R&D projects by facilitating connection points internally and externally, and by creating digital innovation projects of your own – often in collaboration with external partners and start-ups.

We’re proud of being in the forefront of development within our area of expertise, and you take action to ensure that we’re on top of new technologies and innovations to keep staying ahead of the game. An important key is ensuring that our total offering is cohesive and that projects are executed in a timely manner – and always in touch with current technologies and customer demands. You set a prosperous foundation for continuous development of knowledge and expertise by enabling sharing of best practices and development of new methods, tools and processes. You also influence and support others in growing their capabilities and competencies within the area.

This position is located in Stockholm or Svedala – a fast and easy commute from surrounding cities, such as Malmö, Lund and Ystad, and with our site located just across from the train station. Travel to our customers and R&D units is a natural part of the job.

Your character
We’re looking for someone with a deep interest in digital technologies and a broad network in the innovation and start up domains. You know that digital is as much about customer needs and business opportunities as it is about technology – and how we can utilize it to solve problems and increase market positions. With your business-oriented mind and a holistic view, you have an understanding for how our innovation projects come together and become compatible with our offering platform. You put your drive and project management skills to use when executing and delivering in a timely manner; ensuring that innovative projects and prototypes turn into successful products.

We believe that you have previous experience from working with product development and advanced technical projects, in combination with a relevant masters’ degree. You’re a doer with a comprehension for both software and hardware, and speaking IoT is part of your DNA. Since we act both locally and in a global context, you’re fluent in English and Swedish.

At Sandvik, we believe that diversity of experience, perspective and background leads to a better environment for our employees, our business and our customers. We’re looking forward to meeting you!
