West Atlantic is looking for a Training Coordinator in our training department. The job is fast paced in an ever changing and exciting environment.

As Training coordinator, you will work closely with Head of Training to make sure that all training for flight crews is conducted in accordance with EASA and company regulations. You will among other things:


• Keep an up-to-date record of all completed training for all company pilots.
• Make sure all pilot licenses and medical certificates are up to date and current.
• Make sure all pilots get their training and checking within the correct time frame.
• You will also assist Head of Training in development of new training and checks.
• You will approve all documentation and records that are submitted by the company instructors to ensure everything is filled out correctly.
• You will be in contact with external training facilities to schedule ground- and simulator training.

You will have the opportunity to be part of an airline training operation with daily communication to pilots, instructors, airline management, simulator training providers and civil aviation authorities.

Role Summary

Duties

The main duties/responsibilities of a Maintenance Planner in West Atlantic are to:


• Manage and ensure the timely compliance of all planned maintenance requirements regulated by the maintenance programmes.
• Provide recommendations and direction to aircraft routing and operations for planned maintenance opportunities.
• Create a cost-effective maintenance plan.

You will be part of a team responsible for the planning of scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance on the West Atlantic fleet of BAE ATP, Bombardier CRJ-200, Boeing 737-300/400/800 and Boeing 767-200 aircrafts.
 

Duties:

The main duties/responsibilities of a Line Maintenance Planner in West Atlantic are to: 


• Manage and ensure the timely compliance of all planned maintenance requirements regulated by the maintenance programs.
• Provide recommendations and direction to aircraft routing and operations for planned maintenance opportunities.
• Create a cost-effective maintenance plan.
• Prepare and issue all maintenance work orders for line maintenance activities, based on aircraft flying programme, aircraft downtime availability and complexity of work.
• Ensure availability of required resources such as facilities, tooling, materials and manpower.
• With safety in mind, ensure that all plans are made with Human Factors in consideration.
• Ensure that all work is planned in accordance with EASA regulations.
• Be an active contributor to the development of department procedures.
• Liaising with internal and external Part-145 line/base stations.
• Liaising with Line Maintenance Control department (LMC).
• Liaising with internal Part-145 Logistics department.
• Liaising with the operators Operations Department.
• Liaising with the Engineering Department.

 

Qualifications:


• Possess a Swedish driving license.
• Be fluent in Swedish and English, both written and oral.
• Must be familiar with SCAA and EASA regulations.
• Experience from a similar position.

 

Preferred skills:


• Flexible and capable of adapting to constant change.
• Highly motivated and dynamic.
• Organized and structured.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Good team player.
