About your job
In this position, you leverage your knowledge to enhance your work and collaborate effectively with various parts of our organization. You support activities within product development for our appointed crusher product, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation. By identifying and suggesting new ideas, as well as sharing your skills and best practices within your function and networks, you add value to the business and contribute to our growth. You review and enhance methods, tools and processes to drive efficiency, provide input on the technical road map and are involved in relevant RTD projects. Staying updated on competitors’ technical solutions ensures our products remain cutting-edge.
The location for this position is Svedala and we apply a hybrid work set-up, allowing you to combine office and remote work.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a few years' experience in product development within the R&D function or equivalent experience. We’re also open to applications from recent graduates with the right skills, personality and attitude. You’re proficient in 3D CAD software and excel at conducting competitive analysis, gathering information from internal and external partners and ensuring thorough documentation. You have technical expertise and a systematic approach to reporting. Acting in a global environment calls for excellent skills in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

Your mission
Acting as the link between the design team and the Technical Product Owner, you contribute to both the overall organization as well as department with experience and knowledge on an operational level by using suitable methods, tools, processes and sharing skills as well as best practices internally. You drive activities within product development for appointed crusher products, together with identifying and suggesting new ideas to develop in a way that adds value to the business. By utilizing your knowledge, you stay updated on competitor’s technical solutions. This role will eventually develop into a “Lead Engineer” position over time, where you take on an even bigger responsibility for three product categories.
Other responsibilities include:
Designing of crushers and other technical solutions
Reviewing and improving on methods, tools and processes
Contributing to technical roadmap, in line with the product roadmap for respective offering
Driving and supporting relevant RTD projects
Leading implementation of upgrades and improvements on existing products based on decision from change management
Suggesting and driving improvements regarding cost, quality and risk
Continuously developing your own knowledge and expertise
Working with requirements for existing and future development

You’re based at our division in Svedala, and some international travel is a natural part of your job.


Your character
We’re looking for someone with a degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, product development or a similar field. Having gained knowledge of some 3D CAD software and the PDM system Teamcenter is highly beneficial. You also have a prominent technical proficiency, a general financial understanding and are able to manage stakeholders as well as enable cross-cultural collaborations. Acting in an international setting, you need great skills in English, both verbally and in writing, while skills in Swedish is advantageous.

You’re a proactive professional with a driven mindset where you always strive to progress and develop in the business that you conduct. You’re analytical and know how to multitask methodically and when to allocate the right resources for the right tasks. You’re curious and are more than competent when it comes to documenting and communicating efficiently.

About your job - being a part of ground-breaking innovations that makes a difference
In this position, you handle upgrades on existing products and developing new ones, as well as implementing them. You take responsibility for screening media development work and make design decisions within our product strategy, with the aim of setting the industry standard in the eyes of our customers and competitors. Furthermore, suggesting and driving technology development and innovation are important parts of this position. We are developing the next generation screening media products and finding innovative technology leaps and solutions for future improvements of current and new products is one of the most challenging and rewarding keys for our development engineers. This position offers you a very varied working day where you are involved in the full process – from the first idea generated to completed product.
You’re based in Svedala, and occasional travel, domestic and international, is a natural part of this position


About you - a structured Mechanical Engineer with a ground-breaking mind set
We are looking for someone with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, or the equivalent, and at least five years’ working experience within R&D or mechanical design. You are used to conducting analyses and creating documentation within this area, and experience from working in projects is an advantage. Knowledge of 3D design software, such as SolidWorks, is a requirement in this position. Your skills in English are excellent, both verbal and in writing, and knowledge of Swedish is a plus. Experience from the crushing and screening industry is an advantage.
