Logistik-Verkstad tillhör Airside & Landside Operations och ansvarar för lagrets inköpssamordning, beställningar, inköp, inleveranser och faktureringar. Som teamchef kommer du att bli en operativ ledare som ansvarar för det dagliga arbetet. Detta kommer du bland annat göra genom att:
Planera, leda och fördela det dagliga arbetet enligt verksamhetsplan
Ansvara för att driftplaneringen är aktuell och kommunicerad till din personal
Säkerställa att teknisk dokumentation revideras och uppdateras
Se till att personalen har nödvändig teoretisk och praktisk utbildning
Säkerställa att verksamheten följer gällande lagar, regler och föreskrifter
Vara delaktig i den operativa driften vid behov

Vem är du?
Vi ser att du har:
Erfarenhet av logistik, inköp och godsmottagning
Goda kunskaper i svenska och engelska i tal och skrift

Det är meriterande om du har:

Datorvana och erfarenhet av affärssystem som exempelvis IFS

Your mission
In this position, you ensure that the logistics performance targets of the division are set and handled in the most suitable way, balancing cost, service level and quality. You work in different areas such as warehouse, sourcing and freight, as well as trade compliance, with the goal of maintaining a high standard in each corresponding field. Your character
We’re looking for someone with a master’s degree in either industrial engineering, supply chain management, logistics, or who has gained equivalent experience from preceding work. Together with an education, you have an extensive work resume consisting of relevant roles within the field of Logistics (freight, warehousing, network design), combined with leadership experience. You have previous managerial experience and are familiar with working in a cross-cultural and international organization. You’re computer-savvy and have a widespread numerical and statistical knowledge. Fluency in English is a requirement for this position, whereas knowing Swedish is advantageous, and any other languages are beneficial.
You’re a leader who’s structured and supportive, where the end-goal ultimately is to create a team culture that is collaborative and genuine. Your mission – generating efficient logistics planning

What about the job?
We operate several production sites and warehouses globally, both with Sandvik personnel and outsourced, and we use a number of logistics providers to ensure that cargo remains effectively moved around via road, train, ocean or air in support of operational excellence and cost efficiency.
In this position, you optimize where, how, and with whom we organize our logistics setup. Hereby shaping and determining our global strategy, including the levels of outsourcing, our forwarding engagements and how we design and optimize our distribution network. You have no immediate reports, but since you’re a part of a team of experts in planning and logistics, you’ll provide leadership both internally and externally in coordinating and integrating the flow of material and information. You take lead and drive performance and operational excellence across the entire value and supply chain to secure service and cost for all material flows from suppliers, internal and external production sites, global and regional warehouse distribution centers and local sales areas.
The location for this position is preferably Svedala, however, for the right candidate it can be flexible within Europe. Travel is normally included in your job, but due to the pandemic situation, we consider the digital arena as more important than ever, and it’s possible to work from home.
Your background and characteristics
We’re looking for someone with a bachelor’s or master’s degree within a relevant area, for example Logistics or Supply Chain Management or similar, combined with at least five years’ industry experience from global logistics networks and transport. You have probably worked in a similar role, are used to managing third party logistics providers and implementing transport management systems. It’s beneficial if you have experience from improving packaging logistics. Working in an international environment calls for excellent communication skills in English.
Strong data focus and analytical skills come in handy in this role as you need to overlook and manage the performance of partners and suppliers in our global logistics operations. With strong networking and communication skills, you’re able to explain and make others understand. You’re person of action with clear customer focus, and you enjoy the dynamic of working inside a supply chain. You take the lead, and like being in the forefront of things, solving both day to day logistics challenges and the long-term strategy for your area. Being independent makes it easy for you to get things done and, at the same time, you’re a true team player who believes that the best solutions emerge in great collaborations.

Your experience is backed by a masters’ degree in Industrial Economics or other relevant field of studies. with a proven track record from leading teams, driving change projects and managing a diverse set of stakeholders in an international environment. You’re an advanced Microsoft Office user and have the ability to learn and work in new ERP environments. Preferably you have knowledge of working in systems, such as Voyager and SAP, and knowledge of demand, inventory or supply planning tools is essential. You’re Swedish-speaking and as we work in a global setting, excellent skills in English, both verbal and written, is required.
As well as your background is essential, we’re equally passionate about your personality. This position calls for excellent analytic, strategic and tactical skills and you’re responsive and humble towards the business and sales operations. What about the job?
In this position, you develop and implement sourcing plans aligned to category strategies, and you ensure a successful implementation and compliance in line with these. You lead and drive sourcing projects and cases, including supplier selection and creation of contracts – where you’re responsible for the complete contract process, from negotiation to signing. Implementation and follow-up on country sourcing plans is another important task in your work to be able to identify, prepare, propose, lead and manage sourcing activities. You also establish strong relationships and work in close cooperation with both internal and external stakeholders, and with your expertise you support the onboarding of suppliers. All in all, you’re part of leading us to a more efficient and strategic future by shaping our flows and ways of working.
The location for this position is preferably Svedala, however, for the right candidate it can be flexible within Europe. Travel is?normally?included in your job, but due to the?pandemic?situation, we consider the digital arena as more important than ever, and it’s possible to work from home.
Your background and characteristics
We’re looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree within a relevant area, for example Logistics or Supply Chain Management, combined with purchasing or sales experience from logistics or transports. You have previously worked in a similar role, perhaps in sourcing or sales, and are used to conducting negotiations and contract management. Working in an international environment calls for excellent English skills.
Your analytical and structured features really comes in handy in this role when you need to create an umbrella perspective over various situations. With your networking and communication skills, you’re an excellent negotiator who is able to explain and make others understand. Being independent makes it easy for you to get things done and, at the same time, you’re a true team player who believes that the best solutions emerges in great collaborations.
